Edward Dzerinyuy Bello

Edward Dzerinyuy Bello is a German author, certified mediator, systemic psychological coach and lecturer, and the founder of Coffee Bello Potsdam, an organic fair trade coffee brand based in Potsdam, Germany. Born in the Gharuh Compound of Fai Casmia Bello in Nkar Village, within Cameroon’s North-West Region and the Nso tribe, Bello’s culturally rich upbringing fostered his deep appreciation for community, dialogue, and tradition. After relocating to Germany in his twenties, he pursued advanced studies in project management, corporate management, executive business administration, systemic psychological coaching, and certified mediation under the "Zertifizierte Mediatoren Ausbildungsverordnung (ZMediatAusbV)". Drawing from his lived experiences between African and European cultures, Bello developed the Cultural Adaptive Communication Framework (CACF), a groundbreaking model that bridges theory and practice to help individuals and institutions navigate cultural differences in communication. The framework is widely applied in healthcare, education, leadership, and organizational settings, particularly in multicultural environments. His work is profoundly influenced by leading scholars such as Edward T. Hall, Geert Hofstede, Friedemann Schulz von Thun, Eric Berne, and James W. Carey, whose theories form the foundation of his approach to intercultural communication. His book, Two Cultures, One Mind, published in 2025, explores how cultural values shape communication, decision-making, and cooperation in healthcare and institutional contexts. The book presents the CACF as a practical tool for professionals working across cultures. The foreword is authored by PD Dr. rer. nat. Dr. phil. Thomas Brückner, a distinguished German scholar with dual doctorates in Physics and Philosophy, who teaches at Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität Munich (LMU) and the University of Potsdam. A striving Catholic Christian, Bello serves as a decreed Gottesdienstbeauftragter (liturgical minister) in Germany. He is actively involved in community and cultural initiatives, including volunteer work at Park Sanssouci in Potsdam. In 2008, he founded the non-profit organization Children Rights Group Int. e.V. in Potsdam. Beyond his professional and academic achievements, Bello is a dedicated father who cherishes time with his daughter and their dog, embodying a harmonious balance between responsibility and personal fulfillment.
